Hyundai Exter Unveiled
Hyundai has made Exter’s back end public. The entry-level small SUV is scheduled to debut on July 10. The Hyundai Venue will be above it.
In terms of design, the car’s overall tough design motif is carried through to the rear face. Hyundai provided a few stylistic changes to give this compact crossover an SUV attitude.
H-shaped LED treatment is used in the taillights. The turn signal and reverse light use regular bulbs rather than LEDs. To give the car a wider appearance, a panel with a black textured finish spans its width.
The housing for the licence plate is extremely noticeable and is located beneath the black panel. The back windscreen is rather large and equipped with a rear washer, wiper, and defogger for the top-tier model.
Take note of the sizable, integrated brake light-equipped roof-mounted spoiler. To give the Hyundai Exter a good height, it also has a shark fin antenna and high roof rails. A powerful bumper with black cladding and a sizable faux skid plate with a silver finish is added to the lower half of the rear profile. To avoid bottoming out on significant bumps and potholes, note the high ground clearance supplied here.
Although the interior of the Hyundai Exter has not yet been made public, Hyundai has disclosed certain industry-first innovations, such as a twin-camera dashcam and an electric sunroof that can be operated with voice commands.
The Headlamp Escort feature, Auto Headlamps, ISOFIX, Rear Defogger, Rear Parking Camera, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System are a few of the additional features.
Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill Assist Control (HAC), 3-Point Seat Belts with seatbelt reminders (all seats), Keyless Entry, ABS with EBD, Rear Parking Sensors, ESS, Burglar Alarm, etc. are examples of safety features.
Hyundai is anticipated to offer the Exter with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with manual and AMT gearbox options at the time of the debut.
