Mahindra XUV300 Petrol-AMT Launched At Price Of Rs 9.95 lakh

With a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine, with prices starting from Rs 9.95 lakh (ex Showroom, Mumbai) – around Rs 55,000 more than the manual variant, the Mahindra XUV300 has now been available with an AMT gearbox. Reservations are now available for the Mahindra XUV300 Petrol-AMT, deliveries scheduled to commence later this month.

The Mahindra XUV300 Petrol-AMT produces 110hp, 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine is now available with a 6-speed AMT gearbox option, beginning with the latest engine-gearbox configurations. As with the AMT diesel variants, the Mid-spec W6 and fully-load W8(O) trim levels are available in the AMT gearbox option.

As in the diesel AMTs, ESC and Hillstart Assist are also available on the W6 AMT variant, features which are not available on their manual counterpart.

The AMT is fitted with all the bells and whistles including auto headlamps, Dual Zone climate Controller, keyless entry and, 7.0-inch Android Auto and Apple CarPlay touch screen, satellite navigation, 7 airbags, ESC, hill start aid, front parking sensor, and a back-view camera. However, Mahindra’s BlueSense Plus connected car technology with over 40 connected car features offers a new addition to its W8(O) AMT – petrol and Diesel.

Mahindra‘s BlueSense Plus systems come in five large ranges – remote control, location, safety, security warnings, and various functions.

Owners can lock/unlock the vehicles through their smartphone, link to the air conditioner, activate hazard lights, and much more under remote vehicle operations. Live car monitoring, location sharing, and sending the owner’s warnings in the event that the car deviates from a specified route are all located features.

Safety features include warnings if the car is robbed, alerts based on geo-fencing and fence time, low pressure, overload, and no seat belt. Buyers can also get information on their tablets, such as fuel level, tire pressure, and more.

The rivals are Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport, and the next Renault Kiger, respectively.
