Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Price Hiked
The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga MPV’s pricing has increased thanks to Maruti Suzuki. The updated Ertiga’s pricing was set at Rs. 8.35 lakh (ex. showroom) when it was released just three months ago in April. The automobile will now cost Rs. 6,000 more than it did previously, or Rs. 8.41 lakh (ex-showroom) with the price increase. The increase, according to the corporation, is effective right away.
Additionally, Maruti has stated that ESP and hill hold assistance will now come as standard equipment on all Ertiga versions. Prior to this, these functions were exclusively offered by the automated and top-tier models. The price increase may be a result of these new features and will apply to all manual variations. The latest generation Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has dual-tone fabric seats and a new metallic teak-wooden finish. A 7-inch Smartplay pro infotainment system is included on the inside, and Suzuki Connect, a linked automobile technology that delivers more than 40 capabilities, comes with a voice assistant that can be accessed by saying “Hi Suzuki.”
Through voice communication and a compatible smartwatch, the automobile may be controlled remotely using the Suzuki Connect skill for Amazon Alexa. Through these devices, customers can remotely access and control the AC function, door lock, headlights OFF, danger lights, alarm, and many other features. The Tech has additional safety features like electronic stability control, hill-start assist, and four airbags. Other amenities include an air-cooled cupholder system, air-cooled ORVMs, cruise control, auto headlights, automatic climate control, a color MID, and AC vents for all three rows.
A new 1.5L Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine from the K-series with idle start/stop technology powers the new Ertiga. It has 136nm of torque and 101 horsepower. It comes standardly paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. A 6-speed torque converter gearbox with paddle shifters is another option available to customers. It has a fuel economy of 20.51 km/l in manual mode and 20.30 km/l when connected to an automatic transmission. The VXI and ZXI versions of the new Ertiga are also available with CNG. The equivalent in CNG produces 26.11 km/kg.
