Maruti Suzuki Fronx Mileage Revealed Before Its Launch In India

According to reports, Maruti Suzuki will soon introduce the much-awaited Fronx in India. Since the crossover’s debut at the 2023 Auto Expo, it has attracted a lot of interest in our market. It has begun to arrive in Nexa stores, and a video of the same thing appeared online a long back. Prior to the model’s introduction in India, the carmaker recently revealed the model’s fuel economy statistics during the Fronx media drive.

We already know the Fronx’s engine specifications and characteristics, and now we have access to the information on its mileage. Maruti Suzuki is anticipated to release the model in our market in the coming weeks. Before that, let’s take a look at the next model’s recently disclosed fuel economy figures.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx will have two engine choices mechanically: a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol Boosterjet engine and a 1.2-litre normally aspirated DualJet petrol engine. The 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine has a maximum output of 89 horsepower and 113 Nm. This unit will come with two alternative transmission choices: a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT automatic. Sigma, Delta, and Delta+, the initial three trim levels, will all be equipped with the 1.2 NA motor.

All three vehicles will all come with a manual transmission as standard equipment, with an AMT option available on the Delta and Delta+ trims. The Fronx’s 1.2-litre petrol engine has a mileage rating of 21.79 km/l for the manual version and 22.89 km/l for the AMT.

In contrast, the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol Boosterjet engine generates 99 horsepower and 147.6 pound-feet of torque. The Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha models will be the only ones to offer this engine. All trims will come equipped with a manual gearbox for transmission.

Only the Zeta and Alpha variants with the highest level of specification will have access to the 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. With this engine, the forthcoming model will deliver 21.5 km/l with a manual transmission and 20.01 km/l with an automated gearbox.

MARUTI SUZUKI FRONX

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx’s grille is identical to the Grand Vitara’s, however, it doesn’t have any chrome trimmings. In its place, there is a single, wide chrome band with the Suzuki emblem in the centre of it. The tyre arches have a straight edge. Also, compared to the Baleno, the next model has a higher ground clearance. Speaking of the inside, the new vehicle resembles the Baleno hatchback from Maruti Suzuki. A 9.0-inch free-floating SmartPlay infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity is featured in the vehicle’s dual-tone interior. A wireless vehicle charger, a head-up display, a 360-degree rearview camera, an automatic air conditioner, and a reverse parking camera are among the Fronx’s further noteworthy features.

Although the Maruti Suzuki Fronx has not yet been given a price, market rumours indicate that it may sell for between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 14 lakh in India. Everything is priced ex-showroom. The Nissan Magnite, Tata Punch, Renault Kiger, and other models will be up against the next model in the market rivalry.
