Mercedes-Benz A-class Limousine Launched At A Price Of INR 39.90 Lakh
The Mercedes-Benz A-class Limousine is introduced as the next entry point to the German luxury brand at an introductory price of Rs 39.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The rates only apply until the 30th of June.
The Mercedes-Benz A-class Limousine has the newest design language by Mercedes, which matches the likes of the E-class facelift and the recent S-class. This means a big front grille, new LED headlamps and rear light, a new LED DRL signature, a longer rear door (as opposed to a hatchback), and a smooth roofline that flows into the boot lid.
Mercedes provides the A-class Limousine, with one fully loaded progressive line cut. This includes the newest MBUX-infotainment system, connected-car technology, an AI-based voice assister, which is a twin-screen lay output (one 10.25 inches for the infotainment system and one for the instrument cluster). The rooms are equipped with dual-field temperature control, a panoramic sunroof, cruise control, controlled front seats, and a wireless telephone loader, and standard fitting.
Power is supplied to the Mercedes-Benz A-class Limousine sedan either by a petrol/diesel engine. The petrol engine concerned is a 1,3-liter turbo-petrol assembly with 4 cylinders (in the A200) producing 163hp. The diesel is a 2.0-liter turbo-diesel motor(the A200d) with a four-cylinder engine that develops150hP. The petrol engine is paired with an automatic 7-speed DCT gearbox, and an 8-speed DCT is provided on a diesel engine.
Mercedes provides an A-Class Limousine warranty of 3 years as a standard and an 8-year engine and gearbox guarantee in order to provide its buyers with further peace of mind.
Mercedes also has the performance-based AMG A35 variant of the sedan in India, in addition to the regular model. This model will have a certain AMG-type style, including a tweaked front grille and bumpers, a more sporty alloy wheel, an offensive rear sprayer, and a boot slip spoiler. Since the options available remain almost the same as the regular vehicle.
The key topic of this edition is the 2.0-liter turbo-petrol four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 306hp and a couple of 400Nm. A 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox carries out the Gearbox functions and control is sent to the four wheels using the all-wheel-drive system Mercedes’ 4Matic system.
The aim of Mercedes-Benz India is to substitute a new sedan of the A class for the already available CLA sedan and A-class hatchback. The Mercedes-Benz A-class Limousine rivals only the gran coupe BMW Series 2 which currently has a price range of between Rs 37.90 and Rs 42.30 lakh in terms of competitiveness as it stands (ex-showroom, India).
