Skoda Kushaq Launched – Priced At INR 10.49 Lakh
In India, the long-awaited Skoda Kushaq is now available for the 1.0 TSI Active Crim starting with Rs 10.49 lakh, and reaching Rs 17.59 lakh for the 1.5 TSI Style Style Crime. Skoda initially exhibited the SUV as the Vision IN in concept form, back at the 2020 Auto Expo, then in March 2021, the production-specific vehicle appeared. It is also the first SUV of Skoda on a localized platform for MQB A0 IN.
Skoda has now started accepting SUV mid-size reservations through its dealers and the internet, with a reservation cost of Rs 35,000.
The Kushaq has several aspects on the design side of the Vision IN concept, and its overall appearance is in keeping with the bigger SUVs of Skoda. On the front, there is a characteristic grille of Skoda, flanked on each side by slender headlamps and a secondary light cluster slightly below them.
The Kushaq has strong lines and noticeable dottiness throughout the body. The rear side is equipped with huge LED wraps, a false diffuser element on the bumper, and a spoiler on the top. A pair of 17-inch alloy wheels is also available in the top-specific model.
The car-maker from the Czech Republic introduced the Kushaq in three categories – active, eager, and stylish. However, a new Monte Carlo trimming line is to be introduced by Skoda. A digital instrument panel, athletic chairs, contrast stitching, and an overall sporty cabin appearance and feel will be the key characteristics for Kushaq Monte Carlo. Also, the 1.5 TSI version of the Monte Carlo edition might be restricted.
The Skoda Kushaq is part of the heavily disputed mid-size SUV sector, which includes Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks, MG Hector, Tata Harrier, and others. The VW Taigun is anticipated to arrive in the coming months and will expand alongside its sibling vehicle.
