Suzuki Jimny 4Sport Limited Edition Revealed
The Suzuki Jimny 4Sport Limited Edition has been unveiled by Japanese automaker Suzuki in Brazil. According to reports, the recently released Suzuki Jimny 4Sport Limited Edition is an off-road-oriented SUV, and just 100 of them will be produced. The new Jimny 4Sport Limited model costs R$ 181,990 (about INR 27.15 Lakh) in Brazil. It has a snorkel located near the A-column that doubles its 600mm water wading capacity. Five colour choices are offered: Silk Silver, Gray, Black, Kinetic Yellow, and White.
Suzuki Jimny 4Sport Limited Edition has a matte black-painted tubular rockslide as part of its design. The SUV receives four blue tow hooks, a matte black roof rack, and a black skid plate.
A 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 108bhp and 138Nm of torque powers the new limited edition Jimny. It is connected to a four-speed automatic transmission with a four-wheel drive. Five colour choices are offered: Silk Silver, Gray, Black, Kinetic Yellow, and White.
A new long-wheelbase Jimny is apparently being developed by Maruti Suzuki, and it will supposedly debut at the 2023 Auto Expo. The three-door Jimny is already being produced by Maruti Suzuki for foreign markets. According to a recent source, India will instead receive the 5-door model, which is anticipated to be available in both 5-seat and 7-seat combinations.
Around 3,850mm in length, 1,645mm in width, and 1,730mm in height will make up the Jimny 5-door. The Jimny will resemble the Maruti Suzuki Swift in length at this length. However, at 2550 mm, the wheelbase is substantial. In comparison to the three-door model, the five-door version is anticipated to have a larger boot capacity.
The 5-door Jimny is anticipated to weigh 1,190 kg, which is at least 100 kg more than the existing 3-door variant (kerb weight). The 1.5L NA petrol K15B engine, with a maximum output of 103 PS, is what powers the 3-door model. Both a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque-converter automatic transmission with a part-time 4WD system are available as transmission choices.
