Suzuki Jimny Heritage Edition Made Its Debuts
In Australia, Suzuki debuted the Jimny Heritage edition. Just 300 of the three-door Jimnys will be produced in this form, which has certain aesthetic changes.
Suzuki Australia has given the Jimny Heritage edition unique retro-themed graphics with Orange and Red stripes on the sides and rears to celebrate the Jimny’s off-road heritage from the 1970s, ’80s, and ’90s. Together with the vintage designs, it also receives a Jimny Heritage sticker on the rear fenders.
The Suzuki Jimny Heritage also receives Red mud flaps with a White Suzuki emblem. Only four colors—White, Jungle Green, Bluish Black Pearl, and Medium Grey—are offered in the Heritage edition.
Features for the Jimny Heritage are identical to those for the standard Jimny. It boasts a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, LED projector headlights, a rearview camera, and temperature control.
The Suzuki Jimny Heritage has not undergone any mechanical modifications from Suzuki. The 1.5-liter K15B petrol engine remains with 105 horsepower and 134 Nm of torque. According to Suzuki, the Heritage edition will only be available with a 5-speed manual transmission. A 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox is still an option for the normal variant. The Suzuki AllGrip Pro four-wheel drive system is also included in the Heritage model.
