Tata Safari And Harrier Now Gets Costlier By Rs 66,600

For the Safari and the Harrier, Tata Motors has announced a price increase of up to Rs 66,600. The price increase is mostly due to the inclusion of additional technologies like ADAS, a bigger touchscreen, and others. The top automaker raised the price of the 2023 Safari and Harrier only a few days after their February debuts. Not only that, but the company reportedly just stopped producing 26 different iterations of the Harrier and the Safari. 66 different variations of these cars were once available. The SUVs with ADAS currently follow BS 6 Phase II RDE (Real Driving Emission) regulations.

The Tata Harrier has now priced between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 24.07 lakh, while the Safari retails for between Rs 15.65 lakh and Rs 25.01 lakh. Everything is priced ex-showroom.

Depending on the version, Safari’s pricing will change. The cost of Tata Motors’ revised Safari has gone up by Rs 9,500 to Rs 66,600. The price of the automobile has increased for the lower- and mid-spec models by up to Rs 19,500, while it has increased for the top-spec models by up to Rs 66,600.

The XE, XM, XT Plus, XZ, XZ Plus, Dark, and Red Dark models of the new Safari are now available. A 360-degree surround vision system, a wireless charger, ventilated front, and second-row seats, a 10.24-inch Harman touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch digital TFT meter cluster and more are included.

The vehicle has a 2.0-liter Kryotec diesel engine that produces 350Nm of torque between 1,750 and 2,500 rpm and 168bhp at 3,750 rpm. Both a six-speed automatic and a six-speed manual transmission are used with the engine.

The Tata Harrier’s pricing has also gone increased for 2023. Now, the automobile costs up to Rs 37,000 more. Prices for its mid-spec versions increase by much to Rs 14,500. The price increase for the manual and automatic XZ Plus models is limited to Rs 37,000.

There are now XE, XM, XMS, XT+, XZ, XZ+, XZA+ (O), Dark, and Red Dark models of the upgraded Harrier. The new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, high beam assist, traffic sign recognition, rear cross-traffic alert, driving modes, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, and other features are included with this model in addition to ADAS.
