Toyota Innova Crysta Price Reintroduced From Rs 19.13 Lakh

The Toyota Innova Crysta has been revived by Toyota with pricing beginning at Rs 19.13 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It is available in the G, GX, VX, and top-spec ZX trims, and the upgrade includes a slightly updated front fascia. It will be offered for sale alongside the recently introduced Innova Hycross, as we previously reported.

The base G variant of the 2023 Toyota Innova Crysta starts at Rs 19.13 lakh and rises to Rs 20.09 lakh for the GX variant with 7 seats. Pricing for the highest-end ZX trim has not yet been released.

The Innova Crysta will be offered to private purchasers, business buyers, and operators of tourist taxis. Nonetheless, taxi drivers in Mumbai will pay the lowest registration fees, which amount to just Rs 17,850, making the Innova Crysta’s on-road costs cheap for them.

Toyota quietly phased away the 2.4-liter diesel engine in the Innova Crysta towards the end of last year and only marketed the MPV with the 2.7-liter petrol engine. The diesel engine is now back and paired with a manual transmission in the relaunched Crysta.

Toyota will be selling two Innova models together for the first time in this transaction. Nonetheless, there are obvious distinctions between the two as the Hycross is equipped with both petrol and petrol-hybrid powertrains while the Crysta only has a diesel engine.

Although the 2017 Crysta first appears to be identical, Toyota has made minor tweaks to the front fascia. They include a revised bumper, revamped front grille, and housings for the new fog lamps. Yet, Toyota has not altered the popular MPV’s rear or profile look.

The ZX is the only one of the four trims that are only available in a 7-seat configuration; the others are also offered as both 7- and 8-seaters.

The Crysta has amenities such as heated driver’s seat adjustment, multi-zone temperature control, second-row picnic tables, leather seats in higher trim levels, ambient lighting, and one-touch second-row tumble. Moreover, it has an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

The Crysta has electronic stability control, hill-start assist, front and rear parking sensors, and seven airbags for protection. Three-point seatbelts are now standard equipment for all Crysta vehicles.
