Toyota Innova Hycross Now gets A panoramic Sunroof

Before the next Innova Zenix (known as the Innova Hycross in India) makes its world debut in Indonesia on November 21, Toyota has issued a teaser confirming a first-for-Innova panoramic sunroof. On November 25, the Hycross will be unveiled in India.

The Innova Crysta only receives a standard-size sunroof, and the original Innova was never equipped with one, thus this is the first time a panoramic sunroof will be seen on an MPV. The teaser also suggests that the Hycross would include ambient lighting and dedicated AC vents for the second and third rows, at least on higher variants.
Toyota has also revealed that the new Innova will have a hybrid powertrain. As previously reported, 2.0-litre normally aspirated and 2.0-litre petrol hybrid engines are anticipated for the new Innova Hycross (and Zenix).

The exterior of the Innova Hycross has previously been seen in leaked photos and a teaser video published by Toyota, and the design appears to be an improvement over the outgoing model. With its upright front and well-known design characteristics like a V-shaped bonnet, a broad, trapezoidal grille with chrome surrounds on the lower section, flanked by high-mounted headlamps that appear to be inspired by the Toyota Corolla Cross SUV, Toyota has managed to make the new Innova look more SUV-like.
Foglamp housings and air dams are combined in the front bumper. It has distinct shoulder lines and an MPV-like design that make it clearly an Innova. The Innova Hycross will be slightly longer than the Innova Crysta, measuring 4.7 metres in length and having a wheelbase of 2,850 millimetres.

A recent batch of spy pictures also revealed a portion of the interior of the upcoming Toyota Innova Hycross. The dashboard of the Innova Hycross will have multiple layers, and some components, such as the centre console, the steering wheel, and the instrument cluster, resemble those of the most recent Voxy MPV, which is offered in select international markets.

The MPV will also include a sizable touchscreen infotainment system, as well as a separate panel with climate control options that most likely has touch-sensitive HVAC controls. Toyota’s Innova Hycross is expected to come equipped with luxuries like a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, and second-row captain’s chairs
As mentioned above, the new Innova Hycross will debut in India on November 25, and Toyota is expected to announce the prices at the upcoming Auto Expo 2023, which starts on January 11. The Toyota Innova Hycross is expected to be sold alongside the existing Innova Crysta, which is currently available only with the 166hp, 2.7-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine.
