Triumph Trident 660 India Debut Scheduled On April 6
The Triumph Trident 660 is the British motorcycle manufacturer’s newest model, which will be available in India soon. The bikemaker recently announced the news on its social media accounts. Now, Triumph has confirmed that the Trident 660 will be launched in India on April 6, 2021. In other news, pre-orders for the middleweight roadster have been available since November 2020.
Pre-bookings for the Triumph Trident 660 are now open at all Triumph India dealerships, and customers can book the motorcycle for INR 50,000/-.
Triumph motorcycles are classified with Trident 660 as the luxury medium-weight roadster. The new 660cc powertrain, unique three-engine capacity, minimal design, class lead technology, and handling on the Trident will bring the new Triumph riders and enthusiasts a whole new dimension. A new change drum assembly, piston, clutch, camshaft, cylinder filler, alternator, and other components are available.
The bore has decreased and the stroke increased for the short-and medium-range punch has increased (to 74.0 mm x 51.1 mm). At 10,250 rpm and at 5,000 rpm the supposed maximum output is 80 hp. Almost 90% of the torque is from 3,600rpm and can achieve 9,750rpm. Triumph provides wire technologies that open two rider modes, each with separate engine maps, traction control, and ABS reaction levels. As an accessory fitting, Triumph can also have a bi-directional fast shifter.
This 660 triple is nestled in a whole new steel frame, but Triumph has even then continued to retain a very fairly moist weight of 189 kg. A series of Showa upside-down forks up front and Showa pre-load customizable mono-shock at the back will perform suspension duties on the Trident. Braking is conducted with twin 310mm discs by Nissin brakes. The blacktop is driven by pneumatic, Michelin Road 5 tires.
Trident is one of the most awaited bikes of the marquee and the latest addition to the Indian roadster lineup, the Street Triple RS, and the Street Triple R.
