The Yamaha Aerox 155 is powered by a brand-new 155cc Blue Core engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA). The liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve motor produces 15 PS at 8,000rpm and 13.9 Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm when mated to a CVT transmission. It also has a Smart Motor Generation System for silent engine starts and a start-stop feature for increased fuel efficiency. The fuel tank holds 5.5L of fuel, and we estimate the fuel efficiency to be between 35 and 40 km/l.

The taillight is made up of 12 LEDs that create a 3D effect. Overall, the scooter has large proportions, giving the impression that it is a large scooter.
