2020 Honda NX125 Revealed
In China, Honda launched the 2020 version of the Honda NX125 scooter. The NX125 is influenced by the Grazia scooter from Honda. The 2020 Honda NX125 has aggressive and sporty looks, much like its cousin. The Honda Grazia is available on the Indian market, while the NX125 is available on the Chinese market. The scooters are both fitted with the same powertrain and a range of characteristics.
Although the NX125 is inspired by the Honda Grazia, we can see that with a dual-pod LED headlamp system with Honda’s signature style turn indicators, which look identical to the Honda Dio, the NX125 gets a sportier front fascia. The whole scooter receives dual-tone therapy. In comparison to the Indian spec Grazia 125, the rear end comes with triangular headlamps and sporty styling.
The Honda NX125 is fitted with a host of features on the front, such as a fully digital instrument cluster, two small storage compartments on the front, spacious under-seat storage for helmets and other riding equipment, and a USB charger to hold your smartphone top-up. Also, with a 6-liter fuel tank, the NX125 will be sold.
A 125 cc, fuel-injected engine that is capable of generating 8.7bhp of power at 7,500 rpm and 9.7Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm can power the NX125. The 2020 Honda NX125 weighs 106kgs and is fitted with 10-inch rear and 12-inch front wheel, both of which are accompanied by a telescopic fork at the front and a mono-shock at the rear, in terms of riding and handling of the scooter.
The 2020 Honda NX125 scooter has been introduced to the Chinese market at approximately Rs 1.07 lakh. As India already has its sister, Honda Grazia, there is hardly any hope that the NX125 will soon arrive on our shores. One of the most significant and functional two-wheeler segments in India, however, is the 125cc scooter segment. Two of its products are already offered by Honda: the BS6 Honda Activa 125 and the BS6 Honda Grazia 125. These two goods are very attractively priced, offer a variety of features, and have a place in the market of their own. Besides this, in the 125cc segment, there are many other rivals, including names such as Aprilia, TVS Ntorq, Suzuki Burgman, Suzuki Access 125, and Yamaha Ray 125.
