The 2021 Audi RS 5 Sportback has been released in India at an introductory price of Rs 1.04 crore (ex-showroom, India). The Mercedes-AMG C 63 competitor is now available in India as a four-door Sportback, rather than the two-door Coupe that was previously available. The front grille has been enlarged and is now completed in gloss black with honeycomb inserts, while the headlights have been sharpened and are equipped with Matrix LED technology. The air intakes, as well as the RS-specific bumpers, have been modified. The RS5 Sportback’s sloping roofline gives it a sporty, coupe-like look on the sides. The Sportback also comes standard with 19-inch alloy wheels and frameless doors for enhanced visual impact. New LED taillights and a redesigned diffuser and bumper are among the changes at the back.
Nardo Grey, Turbo Blue, Tango Red, Mythos Black, Glacier White, Navarra Blue, Sonoma Green, and Daytona Grey are the eight colours offered for the Audi RS 5 Sportback.

The 2021 Audi RS5 Sportback is driven by a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 engine that produces 450 horsepower and 600 Nm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, and power is distributed to all four wheels using Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system. The RS 5 Sportback accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in 3.9 seconds and has a top speed of 250 kilometres per hour, which is electronically regulated.
The 2021 Audi RS 5 Sportback also has two RS modes, which change the car’s power delivery, transmission, and steering sensitivity. The Audi drive choice button on the steering wheel is used to control these settings.
The RS sports suspension is also included, which is said to be “honed to give excellent dynamic handling on the road.”
Only one direct competitor for the 2021 Audi RS 5 Sportback is currently available in India: the Mercedes-AMG C 63 Coupe, which costs Rs 1.33 crore (ex-showroom, India).
The Audi RS 5 competes in international markets against the BMW M3, the Lexus RC F, and the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio.
The e-tron SUV and e-tron Sportback, Audi’s first all-electric models, were just released in India, and the German automaker has a host of new SUVs set up for release this year, after the launch of the RS5.
