First of all, only slight cosmetics improvements in the outgoing model are done by the 2021 MG Hector and Hector Plus. The updated finish of Hector’s grille is replaced by a black applique on the back of the reflective strip that runs between the tail lamps. Both SUVs are now riding on bigger 18-inch alloy wheels, and are having new front and backplates. The Hector now also has a new Starry Blue outer color choice.

The most noticeable transition toward the interior of the 2021 Hector is the soft champagne and the Dark Dual Tone cabin. The lightweight colors not only add to the height of the cabin but also improve a sense of space in a spacious interior.

The voice assistant, which can now understand up to 31 Hinglish instructions – some in Hindi – for acts from opening and closing the sunroof to air-con controls and navigation, is another upgrade that is to be noticed.
