2022 BMW X3 Facelift To Launch On January 20
Another update from the BMW office, and some exciting news for all you BMW fans! The X3 facelift finally has a release date, and it will make its debut on Indian soil on January 20th. This news comes just a few days after the brand officially launched pre-orders for the X3. The 2022 BMW X3 features subtle changes on both the inside and outside. Another intriguing offer from the company is the inclusion of free ‘M’ 20-inch wheels for all pre-orders of this SUV. The actual cost of fitting these wheels is Rs. 2 Lakh.
The 2022 BMW X3 has a new double kidney grille, chrome radiator grille bars, fully adaptive LED headlights, and hexagonal LED fog lights. The model gets new LED taillights, a low-slung roof spoiler, chrome exhaust tailpipes on both sides, and an automatic tailgate. A new set of alloy wheels is among the other exterior changes.
Inside, there is an embossed X logo in chrome on the doors and center console, an adjustable rear seat backrest, a rear window sun-blind, an enlarged panoramic roof, ambient lighting with six dimmable light designs, BMW Display Key, welcome light carpet, a rear-view camera with park assist, a smartphone holder wireless charging for mobile phones, a 12.3-inch multifunction instrument display, BMW iDrive, including a touch controller, and BMW Navigation Profession.
Six airbags, Attentiveness Assist, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Cornering Brake Control (CBC), electric parking brake with auto hold, side-impact protection, electronic vehicle immobilizer and crash sensor, ISOFIX child seat mounting, and an integrated emergency spare wheel under the load floor are among the high-level safety features and electronics included in the vehicle. Adaptive suspensions, electronically controlled ‘Automatic Differential Brakes/locks (ADB-X),’ extended ‘Dynamic Traction Control (DTC),’ Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, Auto Start-Stop, Brake-Energy Regeneration, Electronic Power Steering, 50:50 weight distribution, and driving modes (EcoPro, Comfort, Sport, and Sport+) are also included.
The 2022 BMW X3 has two engine options: a 2.0L four-cylinder petrol with 252HP and a maximum torque of 350Nm, and a 2.0L four-cylinder diesel with 190HP and 400Nm of torque, as seen on the BMW X3 xDrive 20d. Both are coupled to an 8-speed torque converter gearbox, and power is distributed to all four wheels via the X-drive system.
