2022 Ford Mustang To Reveal On September 14

On September 14 during the forthcoming 2022 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Ford is scheduled to make the next-generation Mustang official. The classic pony car’s brand-new model will probably be built on a new basis and keep its manual transmission.

Jim Farley, the CEO of Ford, tweeted a confirmation of the information but omitted to say which manual transmission it will have.
The recently leaked photos of the all-new Mustang demonstrate that it will maintain the legendary appearance of the muscle vehicle. The 2022 Ford Mustang, internally known as S650, will feature the traditional Mustang pony logo on the grille, flanked by sizable air intakes, as well as a familiar headlamp setup with a tri-bar, LED setup.

The 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 13.2-inch infotainment display with few physical buttons in the center console may be included in the 2018 Mustang, according to the leaked pictures.

Along with the venerable 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine and the 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, Ford may debut two hybrid powertrains with the 2022 Ford Mustang. Although the power level has not yet been disclosed, the outgoing V8 model produces 450 horsepower and 556 pound-feet of torque.

Ford is likely to keep using the same six-speed manual and 10-speed automatic gearboxes, as was already indicated.

The Ford Mustang, although being discontinued for some time, might be one of the Ford vehicles that come back to India as part of the company’s projected strategy to maintain its presence through CBU imports of certain premium models. It’s possible that the seventh-generation Mustang will make a comeback given the timing.
