2022 Land Rover Discovery Launched, Priced At INR 88.06 Lakhs
Today, Land Rover unveiled the 2022 Discovery, which has a starting price of Rs. 88.06 lakhs (ex-showroom).
The Land Rover Discovery for 2022 has typical Discovery design characteristics like the stepped roof and clamshell bonnet, but it gets new LED headlights with DRLs, a reworked front bumper with new side vents, and restyled LED tail lamps (joined by a gloss black panel).
The interior of the 7-seat SUV has been updated to include an 11.4-inch touchscreen for the Pivi Pro infotainment system, as well as a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
Customers will also receive features and technology like SOTA, Cabin Air Ionisation, Intelligent Seat Fold, Remote app, tablet holders, USB-A charging ports, motorized inner tailgate, optional hands-free gesture tailgate, and more when they pay the 2022 Land Rover Discovery pricing.
Land Rover provides two petrol and one diesel engine option for the 2022 Discovery. The 2.0-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine in the P300 variant produces 296 BHP and 400 Nm of torque.
The 3.0-liter straight-6 petrol engine produces 355 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque, while the diesel engine produces 296 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque.
The SUV’s top speed is 209 km/hr, and it boasts the fastest 0-100 km/hr time of 6.8 seconds.
While all versions come standard with all-wheel drive, cars equipped with the 6-cylinder Ingenium engines have a sophisticated driveline that improves torque distribution between the front and rear axles.
The 2022 Discovery is also equipped with Land Rover’s Terrain Response 2 technology (with new Wade Mode) to help the driver navigate rough terrain.
