2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Features Teased
Maruti Suzuki has been teasing us about the new hatchback with only two days to the unveiling of the new Alto K10. Maruti’s most recent teaser finally reveals the features the new Alto K10 will have. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is already available for pre-order for the low price of Rs 11,000, and it will go on sale on August 18th.
The teaser reveals that in addition to the conventional 5-speed manual, the new Alto K10 will also be available with an AMT. It also indicates that the 2019 Alto will come with a remote key and an Android Auto and Apple CarPlay-compatible SmartPlay touchscreen infotainment system. The steering-mounted audio controls that were missing from the earlier leaks will be included, which is an interesting addition. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 has a 2,380mm wheelbase and dimensions of 3,530mm in length, 1,490mm in width, and 1,520mm in height. In comparison to the existing Alto, it is around 85mm longer, 45mm taller, and 20mm longer in wheelbase.
Its 1490 mm breadth, however, doesn’t change. It weighs 1,150 kg in total. The Heartect platform used by Maruti to build other small cars serves as the foundation for the Alto K10. The new Celerio’s rounded shape is incorporated into the Alto K10’s design, among other things. It has a big hexagonal grille up front and two swept-back halogen headlamps. You can see the 13-inch wheels and flap-style door handles if you move to the side. Due to the taillamps, many people would mistake it for the Celerio at the back. The Alto K10’s interior has an all-black color scheme with an upright dashboard.
Like the Celerio, the front power window controls are located below the touchscreen. Other features included in the new Alto K10 include USB ports, a digital instrument display, manual air conditioning, ABS, dual airbags, and ESP. The 1.0-liter K10C DualJet engine, which generates 67 horsepower and 89 Nm, will power the new Alto K10. It comes with a 5-speed manual transmission or an automatic transmission and has an idle start/stop for better fuel economy. Expect the hatchback to have the highest fuel efficiency ratings in its class.
