2022 Renault Kiger Launched At A Price Of Rs. 5.84 Lakhs
Renault has unveiled the 2022 Kiger in India, with a starting price of Rs. 5.84 lakhs (ex-showroom). New features have been added to the small SUV, as well as a few other significant alterations.
Renault has added a new dual-tone color option for 2022: Metal Mustard with Mystery Black roof. 16-inch alloy wheels with red center caps, ‘Turbo’ door stickers, a new front chin plate, and new chrome trim on the boot lid are also available on the Kiger turbo models.
The 2022 Renault Kiger will get a new ‘red fade’ dashboard accent, quilted seat upholstery with red stitching, a PM2.5 atmospheric filter as standard, as well as wireless smartphone charging, and cruise control.
The tiny SUV will be available with both a normally aspirated 1.0-liter engine (72 PS and 96 Nm) and a turbocharged 1.0-liter petrol engine, just as previously (100 PS and up to 160 Nm).
While the atmospheric engine is available with both a 5-speed manual and an automatic manual transmission, the turbocharged engine is available with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT.
The RXT(O) grade, which was created last year to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the French carmaker’s Indian operations, will now be available with the more powerful petrol engine, as well as manual and automatic transmission choices.
The RXT(O) version was formerly only available with a 1.0-liter normally aspirated engine. Bookings for the new version, as well as the complete 2022 Kiger lineup, will begin on March 31st.
The tiny SUV is equipped with up to four airbags, ABS, EBD, and ISOFIX anchorages, and it received a 4-star certification from Global NCAP after a safety inspection.
