2022 Tata Nexon XM+(S) Launched At A Price Of Rs 9.75 Lakh
The Nexon compact SUV lineup now has a 2022 Tata Nexon XM+(S) variant from Tata Motors. The 2022 Tata Nexon XM+(S) trim, which is priced between Rs 9.75 lakh and Rs 11.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), is positioned above the current XM(S), but more significantly, it takes the place of the earlier XZ trim.
The 2022 Tata Nexon XM+(S) receives a few extra amenities above the XM(S) that are taken from the XZ+ trim and the higher-placed, defunct XZ.
The 2022 Tata Nexon XM+(S) adds a 7.0-inch touchscreen Harman infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay over the features already available on the XM(S) grade, as well as a cooled glove box, rear AC vents, a 12V rear power outlet, and a shark fin antenna, which are all taken from the XZ+ trim.
It’s also important to note that the XM+(S) offers automatic gearbox options for both engines, in contrast to the defunct XZ trim, which only offered manual gearboxes for both gasoline and diesel engines.
With this upgrade, the Tata Nexon will be offered in the XE, XM, XM(S), XM+(S), XZ+, XZ+(HS), XZ+(O), and XZ+ trim levels (P).
Input cost increases were the reason given by Tata Motors for the recent price increases on all of its vehicles and SUVs. The diesel XM(S) models of the Nexon suffered price increases of up to Rs 15,000, while all other variants experienced a uniform increase of Rs 5,000. Currently, the Nexon SUV costs between Rs. 7.60 lakh and Rs. 13.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
