2022 TVS Radeon Launched, Price Starts From INR. 59,925/-
The 2022 Radeon is available from TVS at a starting price of Rs. 59,925. (ex-showroom). This time, TVS has packed the motorcycle with a tonne of goodies to compete with the freshly released Hero Splendor Plus XTEC.
The most significant change is the installation of a new reverse LCD instrument cluster that displays a variety of information, including a Real-time Mileage Indicator (RTMi), a clock, service due to indicator, a low battery indicator, a top speed, an average speed, etc.
The brand-new Radeon also has a USB charging port, a front disc brake, LED DRL, side stand indicator, and TVS’ Intelligo stop/start technology. There are 18 distinct features available in all. The bike is already well-known for having the best-in-class wheelbase and ground clearance.
On the other hand, the recently released Splendor Plus XTEC is brimming with many market-first features, including a full digital meter with Bluetooth connectivity, call and SMS alerts, two trip meters, a real-time mileage indicator, a low fuel indicator, an LED high-intensity position lamp, and unique graphics.
The bike also has a built-in USB charger, a side-stand visual indicator for when the engine has been cut off, Hero’s i3S technology, which is an idle stop-start system, and a special bank-angle sensor that shuts the engine off in the event of a fall.
So, the Radeon does lack some of the Splendor XTEC’s essential features. However, it compensates for this with somewhat higher horsepower and torque from its 109.7 cc engine, which generates 8.08 HP at 7350 RPM and 8.7 Nm at 4500 RPM. A front disc brake is also absent from the Splendor.
In addition to the 10 standard colors available, the 2022 TVS Radeon receives two new dual-tone colors in Blue Black and Red Black. A total of five variations exist. The 2022 model is identical to the existing 1 other than these improvements.
