2023 Bajaj Pulsar 220F Launched At A Price Of INR Rs 1.37 Lakh

The debut of the 2023 Pulsar 220F in the Indian market has been announced by Bajaj Auto. The required adjustments have been made to this sub-250cc Pulsar motorbike in order for it to comply with OBD2-standards. In April of last year, the semi-faired bike was phased away. But now that it’s been requested, it’s back on the market with big changes. On the other hand, the hardware, mechanical requirements, and design are the same. The 2023 Chetak Electric scooter from Bajaj Auto, with a starting price of Rs. 1.52 lakh, was also just released in India (ex-showroom).

Many improvements to the two-function wheelers and style are included in the new EV. Along with the new model, the existing electric scooter, which is currently on sale for Rs. 1.22 lakh (ex-showroom), will also be sold. Please take notice that a Rs 30,000 price variation is acceptable due to small adjustments like a bigger variety. The upgrades were limited to the most costly Premium version. Now that we have returned to the all-new Pulsar 220F, here is all we currently know about it following the automaker’s recent covert debut in Chakan.

The styling of the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar 220F remains the same and it retains features like a semi-fairing design, a side-slung exhaust, two 17-inch six-spoke alloy wheels on either end, an engine cowl, a clip-on style handlebar, a muscular fuel tank, a split-style seat, two-piece pillion grabrail, and a vertically stacked twin-pod headlight with twin DRLs. The 2023 model’s aesthetics have been updated by the company, but the design hasn’t. These graphics are on the front wing, fairing, fuel tank, rear panel, and engine cowl. The business has embellished the bike with carbon-fibre graphics for a sportier look.

Bajaj Auto changed the instrument cluster on the 2023 model in order to display additional data. On the newly upgraded display, information on the motorcycle’s fuel efficiency is now available. Real-time fuel efficiency and the distance till empty are among the statistics on the dashboard. Its semi-digital architecture includes an analogue tachometer as well. The warning lights are positioned between the tachometer and the digital display, while the telltale indications are located at the bottom of the console. To provide a flavour of sportiness, the instrument cluster of the bike has a carbon-fibre feel.

It still includes features like a single-channel ABS, a projector-style halogen headlamp, illuminated switchgear, conventional blinkers, and an LED taillight, among others.

Hardware-wise, the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar 220F has the same components as the previous model year, including Endurance’s telescopic front forks and preload-adjustable dual rear shocks. The vehicle’s brakes consist of a single 230mm rear rotor and a single 280mm front disc. The 17-inch alloy wheels have 90/90 and 120/80 tubeless tyres on the front and back, respectively.

The 2023 Pulsar 220F’s 220cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine has been retained and is adjusted to generate a maximum of 20.11 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 18.55 Nm at 7,000 rpm. This engine is connected with a five-speed transmission. The 2023 Pulsar 220F has all the hardware necessary to comply with OBD2-norms while having numbers that are comparable to those of the BS6 model.

The cost of the brand-new Bajaj Pulsar 220F, which has just one model and costs Rs. 1.37 lakh ex-showroom, is Rs. This motorbike, which Bajaj has started shipping, will soon be accessible at all dealerships in India. The Pulsar 220F indirectly competes with bikes like the Bajaj Pulsar F250 and the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V while not having any direct rivals.

The long-awaited Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and NS200 bike costs have just been made public in advance of their introduction in India. The NS160 costs Rs. 1.35 lakh, while the NS200 costs Rs. 1.47 lakh. Everything is priced ex-showroom. The new Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and the NS160 have both undergone a lot of improvements for 2023. Both bikes have the same appearance, bodywork, and semi-digital technology except for the engines.
