2023 Range Rover Sport SV To Debut On May 31
On May 31, “the fastest, most dynamic, and technologically advanced” version of the brand-2023 Range Rover Sport SV will make its public debut. The next range-topper will be known as the Range Rover Sport SV, eliminating the ‘R’ suffix of the previous car, and is anticipated to push power output past the 575hp of its predecessor.
The Range Rover 4.4-liter V8, used in the ordinary Range Rover and Range Rover Sport, will be heavily modified for the SV, increasing power and torque to compete with the Lamborghini Urus and Aston Martin DBX 707 for supremacy in the super-SUV class.
One of Land Rover’s final new combustion vehicles will be the 2023 Range Rover Sport SV. Earlier last week, Jaguar Land Rover, now known simply as JLR, provided a comprehensive update on the status of its Reimagine transformation plan, which will see the arrival of an electric Range Rover in 2019 before the Land Rover Discovery Sport, Range Rover Sport, Evoque, and Velar go electric starting in 2025.
When it debuts, around a year after the normal car, the 2023 Range Rover Sport SV will be the flagship model for the redesigned Range Rover brand, one of JLR’s four newly formed model families.
More information will become available as the launch date draws near, but it has already been established that the new car will be a “highly limited” offering available only by invitation and that it would introduce a variety of “world-first” technology to achieve unprecedented performance levels.
