2023 Yamaha R3 Will Get Some Minor Changes
As previously reported, Yamaha is preparing to return to the premium bike sector in India, and the R3 is possibly the most eagerly anticipated of the bikes it will debut.
The R3 received two visual updates for the 2023 model year, including sleek LED indicators taken from larger models and a new eye-catching purple hue.
The rest of the bike is mechanically comparable, with a 321cc parallel-twin engine that produces 42hp at 10,750rpm and 29.5Nm at 9,000rpm. This engine is housed within a diamond frame and is supported by a KYB 37mm USD fork and preload-adjustable monoshock.
The 2023 Yamaha R3 has a slipper clutch, dual-channel ABS, all-LED lighting, and an LCD display (rather than a more current TFT unit found on some of its competitors).
When it is released in India, the Yamaha R3 will compete alongside the KTM RC 390, BMW G 310 RR, and another rev-happy parallel twin from Japan, the Kawasaki Ninja 400.
