Bajaj CT 125X To Launch Soon

The CT 125X, a new Bajaj model, was discovered in plain sight at a warehouse, suggesting that a launch may be approaching soon. It is not yet known if the CT 110X will completely be replaced by this new model or if it will coexist with it.

Although the bike has been seen as ‘125X’ badging on its side panels, it has a front drum brake. This is a blatant indicator that the new bike’s engine would have a displacement just below 125cc in order to comply with government regulations requiring ABS and, consequently, a front disc brake on motorcycles over 125cc.

Increased displacement also implies that the CT 125X’s 115cc engine will produce more power than the CT 110X’s 8.5hp at 7,000 rpm and 9.8Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. Although the specifics of this engine have not yet been made public, it may share parts with other 125cc Bajaj models like the Pulsar 125.

Although the engine is the main focus of this discussion, the Bajaj CT 125X also receives a few aesthetic upgrades to set it apart from its smaller sibling. To begin with, this model has more varied color possibilities than the smaller CT and a seat that is significantly thicker and double-stitched. Additionally, the handlebar features a USB charging port, something the CT 110X does not have.

There are only three modifications that set the future Bajaj CT 125X apart from the CT 110X. More than a passing resemblance can be seen between the overall silhouette and the underpinnings, suggesting that the price tag this new model carries won’t be too dissimilar from the Rs 66,298 (ex-showroom, Delhi) you must pay for the CT 110X. The Bajaj CT 125X will compete against models like the Honda SP125, TVS Raider, and Hero Super Splendor once it enters the market.
