Bajaj Platina 110 ABS Launched At A Price Of Rs 72,224
Today, Bajaj Auto unveiled the Platina 110 ABS, which retails for Rs 72,224. (ex-showroom, Delhi). The commuter motorcycle is now the first 100-110cc model in the market to include ABS.
Along with the single-channel ABS, Bajaj also upgraded the Platina 110’s digital speedometer to include an ABS indicator as well as gear position, gear change, and gear indicator indicators. There are four color options available for the Platina 110 ABS: Ebony Black, Gloss Pewter Grey, Cocktail Wine Red, and Saffire Blue.
A 115.45cc, single-cylinder engine developing 8.6hp @ 7000 rpm and 9.81Nm at 5000 rpm powers the Bajaj Platina 110 ABS with a 5-speed transmission.
This new ABS version, which costs Rs 3,680 more than the Platina 110 with drum brakes, goes up against the new Bajaj Platina 110 ABS, the Honda CD 110 Dream Deluxe, the TVS Star City Plus, and the Hero Passion Pro.
According to government regulations, only two-wheelers with displacement greater than 125cc are required to have ABS, while those with less displacement can get by with a CBS (Combined Braking System). In order to improve safety, it is commendable to see Bajaj go above and beyond what the government mandates and include ABS in a 110cc motorcycle.
