“Are you ready to soar to the next level of urban riding?” BMW Motorrad started with a teaser photograph of the BMW Motorrad C 400 GT. The first Maxi-scooter from BMW Motorrad India will be unveiled soon.”

The maxi-scooter sector is undeniably gaining popularity in India. For purchasers who desire a larger scooter for everyday usage, the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 and the Aprilia SXR series are available.

However, there is currently no suitable high-performance maxi-scooter on the market, which is something BMW Motorrad hopes to address with the BMW Motorrad C 400 GT.

The maxi-scooter has a CVT and can reach a top speed of 138 km/h thanks to a 350cc single-cylinder water-cooled motor that produces 34 HP at 7500 RPM and 35.35 Nm of maximum torque at 5750 RPM.

The scooter is definitely no slouch, and it has a lot of presence, which is something that many bikes these days lack.

The BMW Motorrad C 400 GT stands out with its LED headlamp, big windscreen, deep front structure, high-set handlebar, stepped seat, and stubby rear portion.
The maxi-scooter boasts a long 1565 mm wheelbase, which should make it a steady cruiser, as well as other features like keyless entry and a USB charging outlet, as well as a TFT colour display with smartphone connectivity.

The 2-wheeler features 35 mm telescopic forks upfront and double spring struts (adjustable for preload) in the back, with a 15-inch (120/70-section tyre) front rim and a 14-inch (150/70-section tyre) rear rim.

BMW has also fitted the 214 kg scooter with dual 264 mm discs with 4-piston callipers up front and a 264 mm disc with 1 piston calliper at the back to bring it to a standstill (with ABS assist).

The scooter costs $8495 (Rs. 6.3 lakhs) in the United States, and it is expected to cost much more in India.
