BMW Motorrad India recently teased the launch of the F 900 R and F 900 XR on their social media and 21st of May 2020 seems to be the reveal date.
Both, F 900 R and F 900 XR share the same 895 cc, Liquid-Cooled, Parallel-Twin engine capable of producing 105 PS of power and 92 NM of torque all of this is coupled to a 6-Speed gearbox and a slipper clutch.
The F 900 R is a naked motorcycle with a more muscular look and a Single-Pod LED headlight with an LED DRL whereas the F 900 XR is a sport tourer which comes with a Dual-LED headlight setup, semi-fairing and a suspension with longer travel.
Here are some of the common features of the F 900 R and F 900 XR:
- 6.5 inch Fully Digital TFT Instrument Cluster.
- Dual 320 mm Front Disc Brakes and a Single 265 mm Rear Disc Brake.
- Switchable ABS and Stability Control
