Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 Launched In Europe- Expected Price Rs 1.35 Lakh For Indian Market
Husqvarna has introduced its youngest motorcycle by unveiling the new Svartpilen 125 and, like most of the others, borrows a lot from its KTM cousin.
The Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 is fitted with the same 125cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with an identical trellis structure and 14.96 hp. Odd enough, unlike the 125 Duke’s underside configuration, the bike features a side-slung exhaust unit.
It could only be a 125 but Husqvarna still gave it premium support. It has a 43-mm, rear-down fork, an alloy swingarm with adjustable preloaded mono-shock, and a 320-mm front bites by a ByBre 4-piston caliper. We’re glad to report that the 125 rolls are wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion STR rubber, unlike Svartpilen 250 and Vitpilen 250 sold in India on superb wire-spoke wheels. As long as the tires are tubeless, it is also uncertain whether Husqvarna has been supposed to use a tube inside because of the wire-speaking bottom.
The Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 looks aesthetically quite like the Svartpilen 250 in India (wheels aside). The neo-retro design language was pretty well developed with a sculpted fuel tank and a round LED headlight emphasized. Round digital LCD instrumentation has also been transferred from the 250s, and like four-liter bicycles, the Svartpilen 125 has a good chance of finally ending up on the Indian market. The expected price is Rs 1.35 lakh.
