Hyundai Santro is now BS6 compliant, Mileage of 20kmpl ARAI Rated.
Hyundai Motors India updated its entry-level hatchback Santro to make it BS6 compliant. Hyundai Santro is available in 4 variants – Era Executive, Magna, Sportz and Asta and the prices start from Rs 4.57 – 6.25 lakh ex-showroom.
The new BS6 compliant 1.1L 4 cylinder engine can produce 69hp and 99nm of torque and is same as in the BS4 engine. It comes with the same 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox options. However, its mileage has dropped by 0.3 kmpl compared to its BS4 spec and is now rated at 20 kmpl for both the manual and AMT variants as claimed by ARAI, India.
You can also opt-in for its factory fitted CNG variant which delivers 58 HP and 84 Nm but It doesn’t have any AMT option.
It is now equipped with a 7.0-inch touch screen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto & Bluetooth, manual AC, rear AC vents, central locking, dual front airbags, ABS, seat-belt reminders, high-speed alert, etc.
