Hyundai Venue iMT Launched At INR 9.90 Lakh

Hyundai Venue is already a popular car in its segment but Hyundai India today launched the Venue with iMT (smart manual transmission) to further boost its demand. The Hyundai Venue iMT gearbox is available exclusively with the 1.0-liter T-GDI turbo-petrol.

The Location iMT would cost the SX trim INR 9.90 lakh, and the SX(O) INR 11.09 lakh. Also, the Korean carmaker has released the new Hyundai Venue Sport Trim, which comes with both petrol and diesel options and is priced between INR 10.20 lakh and INR 11.58 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

On the other side, the Sport model will be available with both the 1.0-liter Kappa T-GDi and 1.5-liter U2 CRDi diesel engines. Transmission options for the turbocharged model will include the latest iMT and a seven-speed DCT, while the options for the diesel engine will be limited to a manual six-speed gearbox. The updated Titan Grey with Phantom Black Roof and Polar White with Phantom Black Roof dual-tone color choices are available at Hyundai Venue Sport.

The Sport trim includes, as the name implies, some additional goodies compared to the other trims offered in the Venue. The list of exterior features on this one should include a dual-tone paint scheme, sport badging, red brake calipers, Glossy Black Front Grille with Red Insert, Dark Grey Roof Rail with Red Insert, Red Inserts on the Wheel Arches and Body Side Molding, etc.

The company has also introduced a new Venue 1.2 petrol S+ model with a manual 5-speed gearbox. With Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility it gets projector headlamps and fog lamps, LED tail lamps, and a 20.32 cm touchscreen display. The price of this model is in INR 8.31 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The inclusion of Hyundai Venue iMT and a new Sport trim would make the Venue certainly even more appealing than before. With the compact SUV being more prominent than ever, Hyundai has concentrated on the driving experience of the Place.

Recently, Hyundai India launched a National Hygiene Drive through all Hyundai workshops to encourage full vehicle sanitization during the COVID-19 pandemic. Customers for their Hyundai cars will take advantage of special discounts and sanitization deals. The 17-day Hygiene Drive begins from July 15th and runs until July 31st’20.
