Oben Rorr E-Bike Deliveries Will Start In Q1 2023
As part of its Pre-Series A round of funding, Oben Electric has acquired USD 4 million (about Rs 32.5 crore), which it says it will spend to start shipping the Rorr e-bike among other things.
Currently, seven states in the nation—Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana—will sell the Rorr electric bike. States have different prices, with Delhi having the lowest at Rs. 1.03 lakh, Gujarat having the next lowest at Rs. 1.05 lakh, and Rajasthan having the highest at Rs. 1.15 lakh. The Oben Rorr has the same price of Rs. 1.25 lakh throughout Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Telangana.
The Oben Rorr E-Bike can reportedly go 200 kilometers (IDC) in Eco mode and 100 kilometers per hour at its fastest Havoc mode. The Rorr has a larger battery pack than something comparable like the Tork Kratos R, at 4.4kWh.
Oben Electric states that in addition to starting the Rorr e-bike deliveries, it will also increase its production capacity and that it has already received orders from foreign markets.
