Simple One Deliveries Postponed Till June 2022
Simple Energy is a 2019 electric vehicle start-up. In just two years, the brand has risen to prominence as one of India’s leading clean energy start-ups. The Simple One, the brand’s first E-Scooter, was unveiled on August 15, 2021. This futuristic yet practical scooter gained traction and has received over 30,000 orders to date. Simple energy recently announced that deliveries for the Simple One will begin in June 2022.
The Simple One e-scooter has a futuristic appearance. It has angular and sharp body panels, as well as winglets on the sides. Overall, the look is sleek and sporty, and it appears to be aimed at today’s youth. According to the company, the scooter performs as well as it looks. For a fully charged battery, the Simple One has a maximum driving range of 203 km in Eco mode and a maximum range of 236 km in IDC. The vehicle has a 0-60 time of fewer than 2.95 seconds and a top speed of up to 105km/h. The scooter is also very practical, with a large 30L boot space. It also comes with a smart dashboard (digital console).
This entire package costs Rs 1,09,999 (Ex-showroom) and can be pre-booked online for just Rs 1947. The company is constantly working on developing new EV technologies. Simple Energy recently announced the completion of a joint project with the Indian Institute of Technology-Indore to develop an advanced thermal management system (IIT Indore). This organization was formed with the goal of improving the safety, dependability, and lifespan of battery modules in all of its products.
