Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition Now Starts At A Price Of Rs 12.39 Lakh

According to our dealer sources, Skoda has set the pricing for the Kushaq Onyx Edition at Rs 12.39 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The SUV’s exterior appearance has been updated, and only the 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine is offered.

The Kushaq has so far seen success in India and, together with the Taigun, became the first midsize SUV to receive a complete 5-star safety certification under the new GNCAP testing procedures.

The exterior color selections for the Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition are the same as those for the base model. The faint “Onyx” badging on the B-pillar and the stylized grey graphics covering the doors are the distinctions, though. Exterior features of the Kushaq Onyx Edition, aside from these modifications, include a false diffuser element on the front bumper, a chrome grille surround, and 16-inch wheels with plastic covers.

No significant alterations are made to the Kushaq Onyx Edition’s interior, which has a textured pattern on the dashboard, dual-tone grey/white interior, two-spoke steering wheel, and chrome surrounds for the AC vents.

Due to its position between the base Active and mid-range Ambition Classic trims, the Kushaq Onyx Edition is only offered with the 1.0-liter, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. The 115 horsepower and 175 Nm of torque engine are only offered with a 6-speed manual transmission; an automatic transmission is not an option.

The Kushaq Onyx Edition is equipped with more features than the standard Active trim. This consists of automated climate control, LED projector headlights, fog lamps, a rear wiper with a washer, and a rear defogger.

The 7-inch touchscreen, rear AC vents, 6 speakers, movable head restraints, and a height-adjustable driver’s seat are other highlights. The Kushaq Onyx Edition has traction control, two airbags, ESC, ISOFIX anchorages, and TPMS as standard safety features.

The Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks, MG Astor, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara are just a few of the midsize SUVs that the Skoda Kushaq presently faces competition from in our market.
