Tata Curvv And Avinya Concepts to To Unveil At Auto Expo 2023

Like every year, Tata Motors will have a sizable pavilion at the 2023 Auto Expo. Tata Motors will use the occasion to provide the public a sneak view of its future models via the Curvv and the Avinya ideas, even if the Tata Punch EV, as we just revealed, will be one of the brand’s major debuts during the event. The public will be able to have a first-hand look at these two concepts when they are on show at the Auto Expo in 2023.

Curvv

Tata Motors unveiled the Curvv concept car in April of last year. The Curvv concept essentially previews a mid-size coupe SUV that will be available by 2024 and offer both EV and ICE powerplant options. The Curvv concept has an angular appearance and what the brand refers to as its “New Digital design language,” which will be used on the next generation of Tata SUVs.

Its sloping roofline seamlessly blends into the Curvv’s notchback-styled boot, and the SUV’s tough appearance is further enhanced by its powerful shoulder line, squared-off wheel arches, and body cladding. It features numerous screens, a three-layer dashboard, and some angular design elements on the inside.

The company has previously disclosed that the SUV based on the Curvv concept that will be produced will use the new Generation 2 EV architecture, which has been created to support a variety of body types and engine options. The Gen 1 architecture, which is now used in Tata EVs, has undergone significant modification to become the Gen 2 architecture. Larger batteries, a variety of engine configurations, and even an AWD dual-motor layout may all be fitted thanks to the modification.

The sleek Avinya concept car from Tata Motors initially exhibited in April of last year will debut alongside the Curvv at the 2023 Auto Expo. The Avinya idea is essentially the “third phase” in Tata Motors’ electrification strategy; instead of the Gen 2 platform that supports the Curvv concept, this from-the-ground-up EV uses Tata’s more cutting-edge Gen 3 architecture.

Curvv

The Aviniya is clearly a purpose-built electric vehicle (EV) based solely on its proportions and dimensions, with electric motors and batteries positioned in the far corners to maximize interior space. It has very small front and back overhangs, which only serves to emphasize the vehicle’s large wheelbase. Along with a distinctively lighted solid grille piece, a thin headlight, and a cleverly designed front splitter, the front of the car has a full-width LED light strip that is intended to imitate a stretched-out “T” logo. Along with a glass roof, it also receives other aesthetic influences from concept cars, such as suicide doors and an unusual floating tail light appearance.

There is no central entertainment screen on the dashboard; instead, there are two screens: one on the steering wheel and a small, seamlessly integrated screen in the dashboard above the soundbar. Additionally, it makes use of environmentally friendly materials and includes an original aroma diffuser in the cabin.

Aside from the two designs, the Punch EV will make its public debut at the event in a state very near to production before going on sale later in the year. At the event, Tata Motors might also display the Punch CNG, which will soon be released on the market. Moreover, the recently unveiled Tiago EV. On the occasion, the Tigor EV and the Nexon EV lineup will also be on exhibit.

Tata Motors is said to be showcasing upgraded models of the Harrier and Safari at the Auto Expo, but the company has not made this official. On the occasion, Tata Motors may give a sneak peek at the ADAS and upgraded connected car technologies that the company plans to offer in its lineup of SUVs.
