Tata Tigor XM iCNG Launched At A Price Of INR 7.39 Lakh

Tata Motors has expanded the Tigor iCNG lineup with new trim, advancing its iCNG technology. Priced at 7,39,900, the new Tigor XM iCNG model has just been released (ex-showroom price, Delhi). The top-of-the-line XZ edition of the Tigor iCNG trim was introduced earlier this year. The Tata Tigor XM iCNG is now more widely available because the new XM trim is around 50000 less expensive than the XZ trim.

Customers have already reacted favorably to Tata Motors’ iCNG technology for its Tigor and Tiago models. The four elements that the business uses to characterize iCNG technology are “‘Incredible’ performance, ‘Iconic’ safety, ‘Intelligent’ technology, and ‘Impressive’ features.” Power windows, central locking, a 4-speaker HarmanTM infotainment system, and rear parking sensors will all be included in the new Tata Tigor XM iCNG model. The four color choices for this new trim are Opal White, Daytona Grey, Arizona Blue, and Deep Red.

The Tigor is now the first and only sedan in India to offer gasoline, compressed natural gas (CNG), and electric models, and that too with both manual and automatic transmission choices. With so many options available, Tigor has asserted itself as the second best-selling sedan in India, accounting for 21% of the segment’s overall market. A 1.2L Bi-Fuel, 3-Cylinder, Revotron engine powers the Tiago iCNG. This engine produces 95Nm of torque and a class-best 73.4PS of power. There is no automatic transmission available; it is coupled to a 5-Speed manual transmission.

The inclusion of the iCNG model in the Tigor has increased our momentum in the market, according to Rajan Amba, Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Care at Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. A testament to the strong demand for this technology in the Tigor portfolio is the fact that currently, more than 75% of customer bookings for the Tigor come from the iCNG option. The new Tigor XM iCNG will assist us in reaching a new group of customers who have been eager to sample our iCNG technology with entry-level trim, taking into account the growing popularity of the Tata Tigor XM iCNG and in keeping with our New Forever brand philosophy. I am certain that this acquisition will support our expansion in both this segment and the CNG market.
