The sales number of various vehicles for FY2020, which spans from April-2019 to March-2020 have been released by SIAM (Society Of Indian Automobile Manufacturers). The sales number have dropped compared to the previous Fiscal Year Of 2019. We have compiled a list consisting of the best selling motorcycles priced above Rs 2.0 Lakh.

5. TVS Apache RR 310 – 2,299 Units

Price: Rs 2,40,000

With only 2,299 units being sold over the past 12 months, the Apache RR310’s demand has dropped compared to the previous fiscal year where it had more than 4,525 units being sold. TVS had recently launched the BS6 model of the Apache RR310, read more about it here.

4. Royal Enfield Classic 500 – 4,925 Units

Price: Rs 1,56,304 (Discontinued)

The 500 cc range has been discontinued, the Classic 500 sold nearly 4,925 units but compared to it’s previous 19,282 units sold in FY2019 this number looks very small.

3. KTM 390 Duke, RC 390, 390 Adventure – 5,962 Units

Price: Rs 2,48,075 Onward

KTM doesn’t reveal exact figures of each model, so we have a combined number for the 390 platform at 5,962 units. In the last fiscal year, the 390 platform excluding the 390 Adventure had sold about 5,891 units, so that’s a increase of 1.2 percent. We recently did a review of the BS6 KTM 390 Duke, read it here.

2. KTM 250 Duke – 6,709 Units

Price: Rs 2,00,576

KTM’s 250 Duke has been doing quite well compared to the costlier 390 platform and was able to increase it’s sales number by 11.5 percent to around 6,709 units sold in FY2020 compared to the 6,019 units sold in FY2019. KTM 250 Duke

 

1. Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 & Continental GT 650 – 20,188 Units

Price: Rs 2,64,919 Onward

The 650 Twins from Royal Enfield take the first spot by a very big margin of 20,188 units sold combined. Compared to last year, there has been a 291 percent increase in units sold.
