Volkswagen India has started renovating all of its retail locations in the country in preparation for the debut of the Volkswagen Taigun SUV, one of the most important VW goods for India in a long time.

The most recent version of the Volkswagen logo was introduced in 2019, and it shifted from its prior three-dimensional appearance to a completely flat 2D design, limiting the emblem to only its most basic features. The flat style of the new logo, which has a darker blue tone, represents the brand’s new identity, which is more individualized, data-driven, and linked. Since its inception in 1937, the Volkswagen emblem has gone through nine iterations.

Volkswagen India hopes that the new logo would make dealerships more appealing and lively to new and existing consumers. Volkswagen India wants to provide customers with quick access to information such as specifications, pricing, financing, and servicing needs, both offline and online, through enhanced digitization at dealerships.

Volkswagen India has also announced that it will provide behavioral training to all of its employees, including frontline employees such as salespeople and service advisors, to help them become more customer-focused and technologically inclined.

Volkswagen’s new emblem made its international premiere with the all-electric ID.3 hatchback. The upcoming Volkswagen Taigun SUV in India would be the first model to feature the new logo. The Volkswagen Group’s second vehicle for the Indian market under the India 2.0 initiative, following the newly introduced Skoda Kushaq SUV.

Following the arrival of the much-anticipated Taigun, Volkswagen will bring back the five-seater Tiguan SUV to India, this time with updated looks, additional features, and a strong 2.0-liter TSI engine. Volkswagen is also developing a replacement for the Vento that will be built on the MQB-A0-IN platform and will be a significant improvement over the present model. It is planned to be available for purchase in early 2022.
