Hero Motocorp has finally launched the BS6 compliant Xpulse 200. It has been priced at Rs 1.11 Lakh.
After a brief delay caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Hero Motocorp has finally launched the BS6 Hero Xpulse 200.
The motorcycle has gotten some minor changes here and there, but the biggest changes are the addition of oil-cooling and a new catalytic converter to the engine. This should aid in better cooling for those hot rides in the summer season and lesser pollution overall.
Due to these additions the weight of the motorcycle has increased by 3 Kg and now comes in at a total kerb weight of 157 Kg.
The BS6 Hero Xpulse 200 is powered by a BS6 compliant 199.6 cc, oil-cooled, fuel-injected engine which is able to produce 17.8 bhp of power and 16.45 nm of torque. The power and torque figures have dropped compared to the BS4 model.
Hero Motocorp is offering the motorcycle in five colours: White, Matte Green, Matte Grey, Sports Red and Panther Black.
There is also an ‘Rally Kit’ offered by Hero which consists of Maxxis off-road tyres, a different suspension with adjustment and longer travel , a taller seat, handlebar risers, bigger off-road focused foot pegs and a larger rear sprocket, the kit is priced at Rs 38,000.
