Maruti Suzuki Dzire facelift gets a flat discount of Rs 20,000
As the updated Maruti Suzuki Dzire was one of the last few launches before the nationwide lockdown, it could not make much sale in the month of March which includes zero sales in the month of April.
The manufacturers have declared benefits of up to Rs 48,000 on the updated Dzire facelift. The offer includes a flat discount of Rs 20,000, additional benefits of Rs 3,000, and an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000. Maruti Suzuki Dzire facelift prices range starts from Rs 5.89 lakh for the base LXi model, to Rs 8.81 lakh for the top- ZXi model. It offers six colors- Premium Silver, Arctic White, Magma Grey, Oxford Blue, Phoenix Red, and Sherwood Brown.
The Maruti Suzuki Dzire facelift features redesigned front grille and bumper, new fog lamp housings, a redesigned alloys, and slightly tweaked rear bumper. On the inside, the Dzire has been fitted with the Smartplay Studio infotainment with a 7-inch touchscreen and can be operated by voice and steering-mounted controls. It features built-in navigation, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.
Maruti Suzuki has not revealed the major changes it has done with the Dzire. Under the bonnet there sits 1.2-litre K12C Dualjet petrol engine which produces 90PS of power and 113Nm of torque and features a 5-speed manual transmission. An Auto-Gear Shift (AGS) manual is offered on the Vxi, Zxi, and Zxi+ models. The carmaker claims that the petrol-manual Dzire shows mileage of 23.26kmpl, while the AGS shows 24.12kmpl.
With the restart of the operation, Maruti Sukuzi also trained its dealer staff to maintain social distancing and has made the mandatory use of masks, sanitizers, and temperature monitoring at all Maruti Suzuki outlets.
Key rivals updated Dzire include the new Hyundai Aura, Tata Tigor, Ford Aspire, and the Honda Amaze.
