Triumph India has teased the launch of the Triumph Tiger 900 on their social media handles.
The Triumph Tiger 900 will be replacing the Triumph Tiger 800 series, the motorcycle was launched towards the end of last year. It comes with a new and more powerful 888 cc, Inline-3 engine which is capable of producing 95 PS of power and 87 NM of torque.
The front design of the Triumph Tiger 900 is narrower and more minimalist than the Tiger 800 and it features a new frame, which makes it 5 kg lighter. The motorcycle comes with features such as a 7.0 inch Full-Colour TFT display, six riding modes, heated grips, bi-directional quickshifter, cruise control and more.
Internationally, the Triumph Tiger 900 is sold in five variants, namely – 900, 900 GT, 900 GT Pro, 900 Rally and 900 Rally Pro. The GT variants are more road-focused and the Rally variants are more off-road focused. We expect most of the variants will be made available in India.
As for the pricing of the Triumph Tiger 900, we expect it to be costlier than the Triumph Tiger 800 and cost over Rs 13 Lakh for the base model.
