Benelli’s upcoming naked middleweight motorcycle, the SRK600 has been spotted completely undisguised.
The Benelli SRK600 was spotted a few months ago in China and we had hoped this to be the next motorcycle from Benelli. But then Benelli launched a new gen 600i in November 2019 which was just a simple refresh with a BS6 compliant engine, new LED headlights and a TFT display with added electronics options.
The Benelli SRK600 is based on the TNT 600i and shares many parts with it such as the, 600 cc inline-4 engine, trellis frame chassis, off-set rear shock, there are rumours that the SRK600 will get a substantial bump in power compared to the TNT 600i.
Visually, the Benelli SRK600 looks a lot more aggressive and streetfighter type with a angled headlamp (looks a lot like the one found on the Kawasaki Z1000). The motorcycle comes equipped with flat handlebar, a full colour TFT instrument panel, we also expect electronic aids to be offered.
The motorcycle is supposed to be revealed at EICMA 2020 in November. If launched, the Benelli SRK600 will go up against the likes of KTM 790 Duke, Triumph Street Triple 765 and Kawasaki Z650.
