Benelli TNT 650 GT Patent Image Out
Fanboys of Benelli could remember the TNT 600 GT, which essentially made an ADV-tourer from Benelli. The TNT600i is well-known for its large and bulky look and the inline-4 cylinder howl, not to forget. The TNT600i It was one of the best exhaust notes in its segment when it did exist, but it was stopped just like other Benelli motorcycles. The Italian mark appears to be looking forward to reviving the TNT 600 GT under Chinese ownership.
A new 650 cc touring bike was revealed in China by the Qianjiang Group brand, which produced a type of approval document. The Benelli TNT 650 GT we have sold here seems strikingly similar, suggesting it will receive a small bump.
Emission standards for Euro 5 will be implemented from 1 January 2021. Manufacturers are attempting to bump up the displacement of their products to meet stricter standards without decreasing their production performance. It is said to be Yamaha’s 3-cylinder 900cc platform and Benelli appears to be on the same track.
The leaked engine may look based on the Benelli 600 GT, but it is now known to be “Benelli TNT 650 GT,” even if the actual engine capacity is 628cc. We have recently reported that Benelli has developed as many as 10 motors, which could include an updated four-cylinder motor.
As for the visual appearance, it changes the design in comparison with the Benelli TNT 650 GT somewhat. The patented engine seems to be more adventurous and capable of touring, with robust alloy bins, and windshields. Another key change is the position of the handlebar that now seems broader and larger, making it more comfortable. The pair of guards who seem to have been borrowed from the Benelli TRK adventure bike is also part of his adventure quotient.
The wheelbase will also be reduced. It could be a larger motor, but the performance figures will remain the same. The same 84 bhp as the old 600 cc variant is most likely to develop. We expect Benelli to load the new Benelli TNT 650 GT, like the rest of their new models, with a fancy instrument cluster too.

And now images of a presentation have gone online that show that Benelli’s upcoming motorcycles have developed up to 10 engines. Motors range from 250cc-1200cc to equipped throughout its portfolio.
QJ Motor, Benelli’s parent company, recently has joined MV Agusta and will be responsible for the distribution of MV Agusta in China. In the course of engine research, Benelli will then develop the symbiotic relationship further. Expect Benelli, by the end of the year or sometime the updated models in India.
